About Me

I got involved with fireworks when my local firework dealer contacted me to redesign and maintain his website for his business. The first 4th of July that I worked with him he gave me a Small Festival Ball Kit and a New Yorker Assortment. I went home and lit all of the items off as soon as it was dark enough outside.

That was 6 years ago. The only difference is my shows have grown in size from the first year that I shot fireworks. My displays currently cost from $1,000 to $1,600. I have the great privilege of working at their new location as a Sales Associate, and get to see what is good. So I only get the really good  items that I like.

If only I know now what I knew when I first starting shooting fireworks 4 years ago. My first few shows were so disorganized, and not to impressive. With last years show I started to utilize many different techniques that are used in professional shows. This included mortar racks, can racks, and a lot of items fused together. There are also some other techniques that I have learn while working with the owners of the firework showroom, that they used to use. Also being around a lot of firework enthusiast has also helped me improve my show.

Now, in  2004 I got my Class B license to shoot professional shells, this site will starts to include information about professional fireworks. Next spring I am going to attend a PGI shooters school to learn more, anything I learn there I will add to this site. Also all of the firework companies that I have talked to on the phone are always willing to give information. Remember if you are not licensed, then Class B fireworks to you would be considered illegal.

I developed this website to give the novice at consumer fireworks how to safely design, and execute a professional looking display. I hope that this site helps anyone who views it improves their own personal show. If you know of some ideas or techniques that I have not included on this website please feel free to email me at Inform@fireworkinfo.com.
