5/16" Drill Bit
1" Drill Bit

Theory: This rack is perfect for consumer mines or shells. This rack is used to it full potential when you simultaneously launch at a time. Make sure that you always brace this rack like all other racks.

1. Cutting the Boards
The first step to building this rack is to cut the pieces of wood to the desired lengths as stated above.

2. Building Base Assemble
When attaching the 1x3 strips you want to make sure that they are place in the center of the rack in both horizontally and vertically. The horizontal measurement is 7 1/2" from the edge.
Next drill the holes for the screws that will attach the 1x3s to the 2x6 the holes should be in the middle of the 1x3s and spaced 1", 3" , 5", and 7" from one of the short sides. Now your base is done.

3. Drilling Holes for Rebar
Measure 1" from the end of the 2x6 and in the middle of the 2x6. You want to make sure that the hole is perfectly in the middle to have optimal stability when the rack is staked.

4. Attaching the Mortars
Now that you have you base of the mortar rack complete you can now attach the mortars.
The first step in attaching the mortars is to drill a 5/16" hole in the four corners of 1 mortar and 3 holes in 2 of the mortars. The location of the 3 holes to be drilled are shown in the picture to the right.
Attach the two end mortars to the base like to one end mortar shown in the picture.  The middle mortar is attach so that the center of the mortar is 4 1/4" from the end of the 1x3s.
